Dream State
2026
Oil on unstretched raw cotton canvas
30 × 40 cm
Dream State emerged from a dream of the life I long to live. Afraid the feeling would disappear upon waking, I immediately picked up my paintbrushes to preserve it. Rooted in the belief that we are constantly moving between memory, imagination, desire, and reality, the painting reflects the idea that life itself is a kind of dream state. Through color and symbolism, the work becomes both a record of a fleeting feeling and an invitation to imagine the worlds we wish to create for ourselves.
